Transfer Credits

Transfer Credits

TThe Transfer Credit Program at Muhammadiyah University of Surabaya (MUS) provides students with the opportunity to study at partner universities abroad while earning academic credits that are officially recognized toward their degree at MUS. This program embodies MUS’s strong commitment to fostering academic mobility, global collaboration, and international exposure among its students.

Through the Transfer Credit Program, students can experience diverse learning environments, engage with international faculty, and gain broader perspectives on their fields of study. This initiative encourages knowledge exchange and enhances students’ adaptability in multicultural academic settings, preparing them to compete and contribute effectively in the global workforce.

MUS has successfully implemented this program with Asia University, Taiwan, where participating students had the opportunity to take part in academic courses and cultural immersion activities while transferring earned credits back to their home university. In addition, MUS has also collaborated with several universities in Malaysia through the ICT Grant Program supported by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemdikbudristek). These collaborations have not only expanded academic networks but also strengthened MUS’s role in advancing international education and innovation.

By continuing to develop its Transfer Credit initiatives, MUS aims to create more accessible pathways for students to experience global learning, deepen academic partnerships, and contribute to the university’s vision of becoming an internationally recognized institution rooted in morality, intellectuality, and entrepreneurship.
