Short Course
The Short Course Program at Muhammadiyah University of Surabaya (MUS) is an inbound academic initiative designed to provide international participants with an intensive and focused learning experience in various disciplines. The program offers flexible learning modes, conducted either fully online or through a hybrid model that combines online instruction with on-site academic and cultural activities at MUS.
Each program is carefully developed to introduce students, researchers, and professionals from partner institutions to MUS’s academic strengths, local perspectives, and innovative practices through a blend of lectures, workshops, collaborative projects, and community engagement activities.
The Short Course Program is collaboratively offered by several faculties at MUS, including the Faculty of Medicine (FK), Faculty of Health Sciences (FIK), Faculty of Law (FH), Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP), Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB), and the Faculty of Psychology (FPSi). Each faculty designs its short course modules to reflect both academic excellence and practical relevance from advancements in medical and public health practices, legal and human rights studies, education and pedagogy, to entrepreneurship, business innovation, and community well-being.
Beyond classroom learning, participants also engage in cross-cultural exchanges and experiential learning. Through virtual or in-person interactions, field activities, and cultural immersion, participants gain deeper insights into Indonesia’s education, society, and culture while building professional networks with MUS faculty, students, and local communities.
This program reflects MUS’s strong commitment to fostering international collaboration, promoting global understanding, and developing graduates and scholars who embody the values of morality, intellectuality, and entrepreneurship.
