The Faculty of Education, Communication, and Science (FPKS) of Universitas Muhammadiyah Surabaya organized an outbound internship program from January 15 to March 15, 2026. As part of this international initiative, two students from the English Study Program participated in a teaching internship in Yala, Thailand.
The students were placed at two different schools: Charoensat Wittaya School and Santi Sart Witthaya School. During the program, they were actively involved in classroom teaching, assisting local teachers, and engaging in cross-cultural educational activities.
The Dean of FKIP, Achmad Hidayatullah, S.Pd., M.Pd., Ph.D., stated that this marks the second batch of students sent to Yala, Thailand. He emphasized that the program reflects the faculty’s strong commitment to expanding international exposure and strengthening students’ global teaching competencies.
Through this program, FPKS continues to foster international collaboration and prepare future educators with global perspectives and professional experience.
